Shipping Methods & Delivery Times
We offer two reliable shipping options to serve our global community (excluding some remote regions and parts of Asia):
- Standard Shipping (£12.95): We use DHL or FedEx for a swifter service. Your order typically arrives within 10-15 business days after dispatch.
- Free Shipping: For orders over £50, we offer free shipping via EMS. Delivery is typically within 15-25 business days after dispatch.
Please note that these are estimated delivery windows. Customs procedures or local postal services may occasionally cause delays beyond our control.
Our Returns Promise
Your satisfaction is as important to us as the quality of our grosgrain ribbon or the precision of our dress patterns. If your purchase isn’t quite right for your project, we offer a straightforward returns process for most unused items within 15 days of delivery.
Step-by-Step Returns & Exchanges Process
- Initiate Your Request: Within 15 days of receiving your order, please email our dedicated customer care team at [email protected] with your order number and item details.
- Receive Instructions: We’ll respond within one business day with a Returns Authorisation Number (RAN) and the returns address. Returns sent without an RAN cannot be processed.
- Pack Securely: Please repack the item(s) securely in their original packaging with all tags and labels. Include a copy of your order confirmation or a note with your RAN and name.
- Ship Your Return: Send the package to the address provided using a trackable service. Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility, unless the return is due to our error or a defective product.
- Processing & Completion: Once we receive and inspect your return (typically within 5 business days), we will email you to confirm and proceed with your refund or exchange.
Refund Timeline & Method
Upon approval of your return:
- Timeline: Refunds are processed to your original payment method within 10 business days of us receiving the returned items.
- Method: The refund is issued via the same payment method used for the original purchase (Visa, MasterCard, JCB, or PayPal).
- Deductions: Original shipping fees (e.g., the £12.95 Standard Shipping charge) are non-refundable. For exchanges, we will cover the standard shipping cost to resend the new item to you.
Items That Cannot Be Returned or Exchanged
To ensure the health, safety, and integrity of our specialised haberdashery products for all our customers, we cannot accept returns or exchanges on the following:
- Cut Fabric & Trim: Any dress lining fabric, interfacing, or ribbon (including Double Sided Satin, Grosgrain, Gingham, Metallic Lamé, and Micro Dot Ribbon) that has been cut from the bolt or reel.
- Personalised or Made-to-Order Items: This includes custom-sized dressforms.
- Hygiene-Sensitive Products: All items in the Lingerie and Lingerie Accessories categories are final sale, unless faulty.
- Opened Notions Kits: Opened packages of needles, fastenings (buttons, zippers), elastic, binding/tapes/cord, or care and repair products.
- Digital Products: Downloaded dress patterns, jumpsuits and rompers patterns, or other digital guides.
