Our Returns Promise

We want you to be completely happy with your purchase. If for any reason you are not satisfied, you may return most unused, unwashed items in their original packaging within 15 days of the delivery date for a refund or exchange. Please note, this policy reflects our commitment to quality and caters to our global community of makers, dressmakers, and crafters.

Step-by-Step Returns & Exchanges Process

  1. Initiate Your Request: Within 15 days of receipt, please contact our customer care team at [email protected] with your order number and details of the item(s) you wish to return or exchange.
  2. Receive Instructions: We will respond within one business day with a Returns Authorisation Number (RAN) and detailed instructions on where to send your package. Returns sent without an RAN cannot be processed.
  3. Pack Securely: Please repack the item(s) securely in their original packaging, including all tags and labels. Enclose a copy of your order confirmation or a note with your RAN and name.
  4. Ship Your Return: Send the package to the address we provide, using a trackable shipping service. You are responsible for the return shipping costs, unless the return is due to our error or a defective product.
  5. Processing & Completion: Once we receive and inspect your return (typically within 5 business days), we will notify you via email and proceed with your chosen resolution.

Items That Cannot Be Returned or Exchanged

To ensure the health, safety, and integrity of our products for all our customers, the following non-returnable categories align with the specialised nature of our haberdashery:

  • Cut Fabric & Trim: Any dress lining fabric, interfacing, or ribbon (including Double Sided Satin, Grosgrain, Gingham, Metallic Lamé, and Micro Dot Ribbon) that has been cut from the bolt or reel.
  • Personalised or Made-to-Order Items: This includes custom-sized dressforms or specially ordered items.
  • Hygiene-Sensitive Products: Due to their personal nature, all items in the Lingerie and Lingerie Accessories categories are final sale, unless faulty.
  • Opened Notions Kits: Opened packages of needles, fastenings (buttons, zippers), elastic, binding/tapes/cord, or care and repair products.
  • Digital Products: Downloaded dress patterns, jumpsuits and rompers patterns, or other digital guides.

Please inspect your order upon reception. If items are faulty, damaged, or incorrect, contact us immediately at [email protected] with photos for assistance.

Refund Timeline & Method

Upon approval of your return:

  • Timeline: Refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 10 business days of us receiving the returned items.
  • Method: The refund will be issued via the same payment method used for the original purchase (e.g., Visa, MasterCard, JCB, or PayPal).
  • Deductions: Please note, original shipping fees (e.g., the $12.95 Standard Shipping charge) are non-refundable. For exchanges, we will cover the standard shipping cost to resend the new item to you.
